Hyderabad: A player hit 6 sixes off six balls and created a history of sorts in T10 cricket. In the ongoing Pondicherry T10 League, Patriots player Krishna Pandey has set a rare record of 6 sixes off six balls in the match against Royals on Saturday.

He smashed 6 sixes in Nitish Thakur’s bowling in the sixth over of the Patriots' innings. Pandey hit 83 off just 19 balls with 12 sixes and 2 fours. Unexpectedly, the Patriots team lost the match by four runs. The Patriots team has scored 158 by losing five wickets in 10 overs and scored 153 runs.

Former Team India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh achieved this feat for the first time in a match against England in the 2007 T20 World Cup. Former West Indies captain Kiran Pollard also achieved this rare feat in the T20 against Sri Lanka. However, Pandey became the first player in T10 cricket to achieve this feat.
