I will contest on YSRCP symbol in next Assembly elections: MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi

Amaravati, May 20: Amidst differences with the YSRCP leader Dutta Ramachandra Rao, Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi on Friday made it clear that he will contest on the YSRCP symbol in next Assembly elections.

To a question, the MLA said that the CMO officials called him to their office. “I visited CMO and waited for two hours but they did not speak to me as they were busy,” he mentioned. “However, I submitted representations to CMO officials seeking compensation and plots for those people, who lost their houses during the expansion of airport in Gannavaram,” he said.

Accompanied by the YSRCP functionaries, the MLA stated that he has been explaining the social welfare schemes being implemented by the YSRCP government as part of Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam. He condemned Dutta’s allegations of his involvement in illegal quarrying of mud. Vamsi said that he faced Assembly elections thrice and not in a position to learn politics from others.
