Arrest of Narayana a ploy to divert people’s attention: Chandrababu

Hyderabad, May 10: TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday condemned the arrest of former minister and TDP leader P. Narayana and his wife Rama Devi without any evidence in tenth question paper leakage case. Narayana, who is also founder of Narayana Group of Educational Institutions, was taken into custody by the AP CID police at Kondapur in Hyderabad today and shifted to Chittoor.

Naidu alleged that the YSRCP government is arresting the TDP leaders to divert the attention of people from its failures. “The Jagan government is indulging in diversion politics as it failed to conduct SSC examinations in a transparent manner,” he slammed.

While condemning the arrest of Narayana, TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh said that the YSRCP government foisted false case against him and his wife. “Narayana’s arrest in no way will benefit students writing exams,” he stated. Other TDP leaders Ashok Gajapathi Raju and Kala Venkata Rao also condemned arrest of Narayana.
