MPTC role suspected in G. Kothapalli village president murder, 3 in police custody

Eluru: Tense situation prevailing in G. Kothapalli after the murder of village president Ganji Prasad. Still, YSRCP MLA Talari Venkat Rao is hiding in the government school under the protection of police.
 
According to reports, Ganji Prasad had quit the TDP and joined the YSRCP. MPTC Bazaraiah was associated with the YSRCP since its inception. Both are rivals in the village. The police probe revealed that four persons were involved in the murder of Ganji. Already, the cops took Hemanth, Suresh and Mohan Kumat into custody, suspecting their role in the murder. Bazaraiah is absconding and he switched off his mobile. 
 
Meanwhile, the MLA became sick and fell unconscious. Additional forces from Eluru are yet to reach the village. Civil Supplies Minister Karumuri Venkata Nageswara Rao has said that he had informed Eluru SP regarding the murder and situation is under control in the village. Three to four hundred followers of deceased leader have surrounded the school.
