Puttaparthi: YSRCP activists gherao Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy

Sri Sathya Sai, April 30: The YSRCP activists gheraoed Energy and Forests Minister Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy when he was about to leave after holding a meeting with MPs and MLAs at the YSRCP office in Puttaparthi. They told him that MPs and MLAs were not available to them to resolve their issues. 
 
The second-rung party leaders brought to the notice of Peddireddy that no one is listening to them at field-level. They alleged that the MLAs and their loyalists are meeting the CM and giving wrong feedback to him. Even, some of them slept on the road and stopped the Minister’s convoy. The police intervened and dispersed them. The minister left the town without attending the Iftar party.
 
Earlier, the minister informed MPs and MLAs to make success of Gadapa Gadapaku YSRCP programme which will start from May 10 and asked them to explain about social welfare schemes being implemented by the Jagan government to the people.
