Suriya's gesture for fishermen wins accolades, fans term him a real hero

Chennai: Creating settings for movies is common. However, today's generation of filmmakers, who are spending a bomb to bring originality to the films is not hesitating to create original settings to enhance the production value and authenticity. However, those settings will be demolished once the shooting is complete. Tamil hero Suriya and director Bala have similarly built a large-scale fishing village in Kanyakumari for their upcoming film.

However, the socially conscious hero Suriya made a crucial decision. After the shooting was over in Kanyakumari, he decided not to demolish the houses in the setting, but to give them to the poor fishermen there. Surya took steps to identify the homeless fishermen and distribute those houses to them.

Suriya's gesture is winning accolades and he is being praised as a true hero and a very good-natured person. Surya has already helped many people through his Agaram Foundation and also lent a helping to the poor students and artisans.
