Bandi Sanjay don’t know difference between paddy and wheat: Palla

Rythu Bandhu Samithi president Palla Rajeshwar Reddy on Tuesday said that Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay lacks awareness about procurement of paddy. Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, he stated that the Centre had made it clear that the Food Corporation of India (FCI) will not procure boiled rice from the farmers.

“In Telangana, parboiled rice grows in summer,” he mentioned and said that it is foolish on part of the Central government to seek details of broken rice. Palla alleged that farmers produced boiled rice after Bandi Sanjay assured them of Centre will procure from them. He slammed the state BJP president for asking the KCR government to purchase paddy grains from farmers. “Sanjay don’t know the difference between paddy and wheat,” he flayed.

Palla has revealed that Union Minister Piyush Goyal had scolded the Telangana BJP leaders for making statements of Centre will procure paraboiled rice from farmers. He further said that the Centre is creating hurdles in procuring paddy produced in rainy season by Telangana farmers.
