Portfolios allocated to new AP ministers; Taneti Vanitha gets home, Roja tourism

After the sworn-in ceremony of new ministers on Monday morning, the AP government allocated portfolios to them later in the day. Taneti Vanitha, who served as Woman and Child Welfare Minister, was elevated by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy as Home Minister. To everybody’s surprise, R.K. Roja was made as Minister of Tourism and Culture. Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, who was handling Finance in the previous Cabinet, has retained his portfolio. In addition, he would also look into Skill Development and Training. 
 
The CM switched portfolios between Botsa Satyanarayana and Adimulapu Suresh. From now on, Suresh will look after Municipal Administration and Urban Development and Botsa was made Education Minister. Key portfolios, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, and Commercial Taxes was handed over to Buddi Muthyala Naidu. The remaining portfolios for ministers are as follows:

G. Jayaram – Labour and Employment
Jogi Ramesh – Housing
Kakani Govardhan Reddy – Agriculture and Marketing
Karumuri Nageswara Rao – Civil Supplies
Kottu Satyanarayana – Endowments (Deputy CM)
K Narayana Swamy – Excise (Deputy CM)
Usha Sricharan – Women and Child Welfare
Meruga Nagarjuna – Social Welfare
Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy - Power, Forest, Mining, Science & Tech
Pinipe Viswarup – Transport
P Rajanna Dora – Tribal Welfare (Deputy CM)
Sidiri Appalaraju – Fisheries and Animal Husbandry
