City turned into 'Udta Hyderabad' under TRS' tenure, alleges BJP MP Aravind

Hyderabad: BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind took a dig at TRS leaders for asserting that they will launch a movement against the Centre on paddy procurement. He reminded that KCR had told the Assembly that he would buy every single grain, but was blaming the Centre as he was unable to fulfil his promise of spending a thousand crores to buy grains. Do you blame the Centre for not giving bonus to the farmers? he questioned the Chief Minister.

Arvind alleged that the recycled rice business was flourishing under the nose of KTR and took a jibe at the IT and Municipal Administration Minister for launching false propaganda against Union Minister Piyush Goyal saying, "The Union Minister had said that the people of Telangana should consume broken rice."  Arvind said, "I am asking Union Minister Piyush Goyal to file a defamation suit against KTR for indulging in mud-slinging against him."

He commented that Hyderabad will be like 'Udta Hyderabad' as long as KCR and KTR are at the helm. It may be recalled 'Udta Punjab' film was made on the severity of drugs in Punjab. It is against this backdrop that Arvind seems to have made those remarks. He said drugs were being supplied from Mumbai to Hyderabad.
