Diesel price for bulk users hiked by Rs 25 per litre

Hyderabad: The war in Russia and Ukraine had an impact on India. Wholesale oil prices on fuel in India have been hiked by Rs 25 per litre. The major oil companies in India have decided to this extent.

Indian oil companies, which have been raising prices on a daily basis, have not raised petrol prices since November 4. In the wake of the five state Assembly elections, the Centre has taken appropriate precautions for fear of an anti-government vote. Despite the recent election results, there has been no announcement on oil prices in view of the subsequent parliamentary sessions.

However, the international crude oil price has risen by 40 per cent due to the impact of the Russia-Ukraine crisis. The price of a barrel of crude oil reached $ 140. The Indian oil companies have also taken a key decision in this regard. However, despite the increase in the wholesale price of diesel, there is no change in the retail price. It is likely to be reviewed in a few days.
