KCR demands Modi to tender apology to farmers

Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri:  Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao fired a fresh salvo at Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking at a public meeting in Raigiri of Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district, he lashed out at Modi alleging that his government was troubling the people with its lopsided policies.

He lamented that the BJP government at the Centre introduced farm laws in 2021 and revoked them when farmers unitedly fought against the laws. He flayed the Prime Minister for insulting the agitating farmers by caning them in Delhi.

He took potshots at the Central government for the Lakhim Kheri violence in Uttar Pradesh where four farmers were mowed down by a car belonging to Ashish Mishra, the son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra.

He demanded that the Prime Minister tender apology to farmers for troubling them.
