CBI questions Manchu Vishnu in Censor Board bribery case

Hyderabad, Sept 7: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials today questioned Telugu film actor Manchu Vishnu at their office here today in connection with a corruption case against Srinivas Rao, a member in the regional Censor Board. CBI sources revealed that Srinivas Rao had recently demanded Rs 5 lakh bribe from a film producer for issuing a censor certificate to his movie. Following a complaint, CBI officials had arrested Srinivas Rao last month. CBI had included Manchu Vishnu's name as witness in the case. In this connection, Vishnu was questioned by CBI officials.
