Bhagavad Gita, Natyashastra in UNESCO Register: Pawan Kalyan Responds
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan expressed his appreciation for the international recognition being accorded to India’s invaluable cultural and spiritual heritage. He welcomed the inclusion of the Bhagavad Gita and Bharata Muni’s Natyashastra in UNESCO’s Memory of the World Register.
On this occasion, Pawan Kalyan emphasized the greatness of Indian culture and the significance of Sanatana Dharma. He stated that India is a symbol of Sanatana Dharma, and that the country's culture represents its true and original soul.
He observed that from the teachings of Lord Krishna in the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita to the Natyashastra authored by Bharata Muni, Indian civilization has offered guidance to the world. Though this ancient wisdom does not require validation from anyone, Pawan Kalyan remarked that recognition by international institutions like UNESCO helps reinforce collective belief and faith.
Pawan Kalyan credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foresight and Union Minister of Culture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat’s commitment for India’s spiritual and cultural essence receiving due recognition on the global stage. He stated that under their leadership, India’s greatness is earning international acclaim.
Pawan Kalyan extended heartfelt gratitude to all those working to preserve and transmit India’s cultural legacy and reputation to future generations.
