AP Government Raises Age Limit to 44 for Current Mega DSC Applicants

The Andhra Pradesh state government has announced a significant relief for thousands of unemployed candidates awaiting the Mega District Selection Committee (DSC) recruitment notification. In a key decision, the government has issued official orders increasing the upper age limit for applicants.

As per the newly issued orders, the maximum age limit for candidates has been raised from 42 years to 44 years. The government formally released these orders, stating that this relaxation applies exclusively to the current Mega DSC notification.

The orders further clarify that this age limit relaxation will not be applicable to any DSC notifications issued in the future. The government has specified that the cut-off date for calculating the age of candidates will be July 1, 2024.

This decision is expected to benefit those candidates who had previously lost the opportunity to apply for DSC exams due to age restrictions, providing them another chance to participate in this recruitment process.
