Jagan meets Arun Jaitely, tells Pattiseema may send Polavaram into oblivian
New Delhi, March 31, 2015: YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy met Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely here on Tuesday and complained that there is a possibility of the Polavaram project being eclipsed and going to oblivion with AP government going ahead with Pattiseema project. He later told reporters that he appealed to Arun Jaitely to release more funds for completing Polavaram project. "Yesterday, I requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to grant funds for the construction of the Capital city and completing Polavaram project. Same appeal was made to Arun Jaitely also, " he said , adding that he requested them to grant special status to AP as promised by the then Congress government during bifurcation of the state. The YSRCP Chief appealed to TS Government to reconsider its decision to impose tax on AP vehicles coming into Telangana.
