MAA elections turn uglier
Hyderabad, March 28: The run up to the Movie Artists' Association's elections is turning uglier by the day. In the latest round of allegations, actor O. Kalyan today levelled allegations against of corruption the outgoing president of MAA Murali Mohan. Speaking to media persons here today, Kalyan alleged that Murali Mohan had donated Rs 5 lakhs belonging to MAA for a temple. Stating that the association members are unaware about this donation, Kalyan said veteran actor Mohan Babu had questioned Murali Mohan on this issue. Further stating that Murali Mohan was behind the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), Kalyan said the outgoing president had minted money during the cricket tournament. Kalyan also said that there were allegations of corruption even in the case of printing of MAA diaries. Kalyan claimed that he had questioned Murali Mohan on this issue and said he had written letters too. However, he said Murali Mohan never replied to his inquiries.
