Govt to organise Ramanavami festival at both Ontimitta , Ramatirtha

Vizianagaram, March 27, 2015: Bowing to the demands of the people of north coastal regions, Government of AP has decided to conduct Sriramanavami festival at Ramathirtam of Vizianagaram district also officially. Government has already decided to organise the festival at Ontimitta in Kadapa district based on its heritage but there have been consistent demands from the people of the north coastal AP that the festival should be organised at Ramtirtham also. With Government acceding to the demand, the festival will now be organised at both places at Ramatirtham and Ontimitta. Endowments department regional joint commissioner Azad is personally supervising the arrangements at Ramatirtham. Azad told reporters that several union ministers and MPs and MLAs will attend the Srirama Navami festival at Ramtirtham. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Chandrababu has asked his deputy KE Krishna Murthy to take Pattu Vastralu to Ontimitta for the festival.
