Singer Kalpana has released a video addressing what she describes as false propaganda about her family circulating in the media. In the video, she clarifies that there are no disputes between her and her husband. She is currently recovering in a hospital.

Reports have been circulating that Kalpana attempted suicide due to conflicts with her husband and daughter. However, her family has stated that she lost consciousness after taking an excessive dose of sleeping pills. "I want to clarify the misinformation being spread about my family. Please stop making false allegations against my husband," Kalpana urged in the video. She explained that work-related stress had been affecting her sleep, leading her to take an overdose of doctor-prescribed medication, which resulted in her losing consciousness.

Kalpana stated that her family is happy and that she has been able to achieve many things with her husband's support. She emphasized that he responded promptly during the medical emergency, and with the help of their neighbors and the police, she is now recovering.

She reassured her well-wishers that she would soon return to performing and thanked those who inquired about her health. Calling her husband the greatest gift in her life, she credited him for enabling her to succeed in her chosen fields. Kalpana concluded the video by urging people not to spread misinformation about her family.
