Nara Lokesh vs. Botsa in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council

Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh on Tuesday announced in the Legislative Council that the state government has signed agreements with several prominent companies to attract investments. He stated that these new projects would bring economic growth and generate employment opportunities.

As Lokesh was speaking, YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader and former minister Botsa Satyanarayana intervened, questioning how the government could claim that four lakh jobs would be created in advance. In response, Lokesh clarified that the government was not directly promising jobs upon investment but emphasized that industries would be set up, which would, in turn, create employment in related sectors.

Meanwhile, the session witnessed heated exchanges between members of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the YSRCP over multiple issues.
