Proud of Our Women Power: PM Modi Reacts to Team India’s World Cup Victory

The Indian women’s team has won the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup, sparking celebrations across the country. The tournament, first held in 2023, saw India clinch the title that year and successfully defend it in 2025. Competing as the defending champions in the ICC event held in Malaysia, the Indian team secured the trophy by defeating South Africa in the final.

Reacting to this victory, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his pride in the team’s achievement. In a social media post, he wrote,
