Telangana Assembly to Hold Special Session on February 5

Telangana's state cabinet meeting is scheduled to take place on February 5. The meeting will focus on discussions regarding caste census and Scheduled Caste (SC) categorization. Following the cabinet meeting, the state assembly will convene for a special session. The government is expected to present the caste census report in the assembly. Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy provided this information.

A meeting of the cabinet sub-committee on the caste census was held under the chairmanship of Uttam Kumar Reddy, with the participation of other ministers.

Speaking on the occasion, Uttam Kumar Reddy stated that the caste census report would be submitted to the cabinet sub-committee. He further mentioned that the report would be presented before the cabinet on February 5. After obtaining cabinet approval, the report would be tabled in the assembly. To facilitate this, a special assembly session has been scheduled for February 5.
