HDFC Bank, State Bank of India (SBI), and ICICI Bank have been ranked among the Top 25 Global Banks by market capitalization for the fourth quarter of 2024. The rankings were published by GlobalData, a leading international data analytics and research organization.
HDFC Bank achieved the 13th position, ICICI Bank secured 19th place, and SBI was listed at 24th. The rankings were determined based on the banks' market capitalization, highlighting their global financial performance.
By the end of Q4 2024, HDFC Bank recorded a market capitalization of USD 158.5 billion, reflecting a 1.6% growth from the previous quarter. ICICI Bank reported USD 105.7 billion, and SBI stood at USD 82.9 billion in market capitalization.
On a global scale, the overall market capitalization of the Top 25 banks rose by 27.1% compared to Q4 2023, reaching USD 4.6 trillion in Q4 2024.
