Padi Koushik Reddy Granted Bail

Huzurabad MLA and BRS leader Padi Koushik Reddy was granted bail today. The arrest followed a complaint lodged by Jagtial MLA Dr. M. Sanjay Kumar with the Karimnagar One Town Police, alleging that Koushik Reddy used abusive language during a review meeting held at the Karimnagar Collectorate two days ago, where ministers were present. Subsequently, three cases were registered against Koushik Reddy.

Yesterday, while returning from a television channel program in Hyderabad, Koushik Reddy was taken into custody by Karimnagar police. This morning, he was presented before the Second Additional Junior Civil Judge Premalatha in Karimnagar, who granted him bail.

Before being taken to the judge’s residence from the Karimnagar police station, Koushik Reddy spoke to the media. He stated, “We will continue to question the Congress party until they implement the promises made to the people. There is no question of sparing the Congress for betraying public trust by neglecting their commitments.”
