'Balagam' Folk Artist Mogilayya Passes Away

The folk artist Mogilayya, known for his memorable performance in the film 'Balagam,' has passed away. Mogilayya, who had been suffering from health issues for some time, breathed his last in a private hospital in Warangal on Thursday morning, according to his family.

Mogilayya had been battling heart and kidney-related problems for several days. Notable figures, including actor Chiranjeevi and 'Balagam' movie director Venu, had supported his treatment. Despite their efforts, Mogilayya's condition worsened, and he was moved to Sanraksha Hospital in Warangal, where he eventually passed away.

Mogilayya's heartfelt rendition of the emotional song in the climax of 'Balagam' captured the hearts of many viewers. The movie, set against a rural backdrop, was a significant success, bringing Mogilayya widespread recognition.
