Amaravati township near Mangalagiri to host temporary Capital
Vijayawada, March 11, 2015: The temporary capital city of AP is likely to come up at Amaravati township situated at 1.5 km to the west from Mangalagiri bus stand. The township, located in an extent of 396 acres in the VUDA layout, has still an unsold land of 65 to 70 acres. According to reports, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has to accord his final approval to erect temporary capital city in the vacant land of the township. The decision to have temporary capital city in the vacant land of the Amaravati township has been taken by the Government after holding consultations with the employees' unions. The employees' unions have reportedly agreed to the proposal made by the Government in this regard.
