Vijayawada Hosts NTR’s Film Platinum Jubilee Event
NTR made his acting debut in 1949 with the film Mana Desam, directed by legendary filmmaker L.V. Prasad. The celebration marks the 75th anniversary of the film's release, commemorating NTR’s remarkable entry into the film industry.
Former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, BJP State President Daggubati Purandeswari, NTR's sons Nandamuri Mohanakrishna and Jayakrishna, along with prominent film producers, directors, and actors, are expected to attend the event, according to NTR Literature Committee Chairman T.D. Janardhan. During the celebrations, a book titled Tarakaramam… Annagari Antharangam will be unveiled.
Janardhan stated that a live link would be provided to ensure that people across the state can watch the event. Speaking on the occasion, Ramakrishna described NTR as a guiding star in politics and cinema, whose legacy will endure as long as the sun and moon exist. He further mentioned plans to include NTR's life story in future academic curricula to inspire coming generations.
