US biz representatives call on KCR, offer to set up power units

Hyderabad, Feb 26, 2016: The US-based Think Capital Chairman Ravi Reddy and Think Energy Chairman Prasant have called on Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhara Rao here on Thursday. The duo told KCR that they are ready to establish solar power units and projects to convert drainage water into power in the state. "We will become part of the development of the state," the two visiting representatives told KCR. Welcoming their proposals, KCR asked them to come out with concrete proposals and project reports so that the Government can take a final decision. KCR told them that if the projects are worthwhile and feasible, Government will go ahead and extend all possible cooperation to them in setting up the units.
