KCR suppressing media: Motkupally
Hyderabad, Feb 20, 2015: In a scathing attack on Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhara Rao, Telangana TDP said that the media is being terrorised by the Government.
"The voice of ABN has been suppressed and its hands chained even though it has not committed any mistake with a view to terrorise other channels," TDP leader Motkupally Narasimhulu has charged at a media conference here today.
Remarking that the suppression of media is suppression of people, he has asked:"KCR claims his government works in full transparency but why is he afraid of media?"
It was KCR who first used the word settler and declared that all those who were born after 1956 should not stay in Telangana, Motkupally recalled.
Telangana TDP President L.Ramana asked KCR not to place shackles on media and said that his party will continue to agitate till media regains its freedom.
