Nellore woman dies in California, parents allege murder, lodge complaint

Nellore, Feb 11, 2015: The parents of Sai Sindhu, who died in mysterious circumstances in California, have lodged a complaint with Nellore police that their daughter's death is not natural and was a pre-planned murder. In their complaint, parents of Sai Sindhu have alleged that their son-in-law Udayakumar had beaten her to death. "Udayakumar has been harassing our daughter for a long time for additional dowry. It is an out and out murder," they told the police in their complaint. Sai Sindu was married to Udayakumar in 2012. Immediately after the marriage, he started harassing her for additional dowry , the parents informed police. "Udayakumar called us from California and said Sai Sindu has died. When we asked him how she died, he simply said she died of sickness and cut the line," they said in their complaint.
