Perni Nani Questions Pawan Kalyan's Commitment to Kapu Community

In a recent development within the political alliance between the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Jana Sena Party, Pawan Kalyan agreed to a seat-sharing arrangement that allocated 24 Assembly seats and 3 Lok Sabha seats to Jana Sena. This decision has drawn criticism from YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders. MLA and former minister Perni Nani of the YSRCP commented on the situation, expressing his views with a hint of sarcasm.

Perni Nani highlighted the allocation of seats, mocking the distribution as reminiscent of a proverbial situation observed on Tuesday. He critiqued that Chandrababu Naidu had allocated 21 seats to his own caste while disparagingly offering only 7 seats to the Kapu community.

Questioning Pawan Kalyan's political motives, Perni Nani doubted whether Pawan Kalyan, whom he accuses of engaging in politics solely for personal gain, could truly empower the Kapu community with just 24 seats. He stated, "The Kapus have now realized what kind of person Pawan Kalyan is... Where will those who have criticized us all this while hide their faces now?" He further suggested that it would be Chandrababu Naidu who decides where Pawan Kalyan will contest from, implying a lack of autonomy or influence on Pawan Kalyan's part.
