Obama invites Rayapati to White House

Guntur, Jan 27, 2015: Narsaraopet TDP MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao was invited to pay a visit to the White House by the US President Barack Obama and his wife. According to a press release issued by the MP's office at Guntur, Sambasiva Rao met President Obama at Rashtrapati Bhavan this morning and gave him Prasadam of Lord Venkateswara Swamy of Tirumala and a specially woven shawl. Rayapati also gifted a specially made pearls' necklace to Mrs. Obama. The visiting first couple of America has accepted the gifts and invited Rayapati to the White House. Rayapati had gifted a gold-made Rudraksha necklace to Obama in Parliament during his last visit to India in 2010. The press release says Rayapati has so far visited America six times but his next trip to the country would be very special.
