Swine flu: Central medical team unhappy over sanitary conditions in Gandhi Hospital
Hyderabad, Jan 22: Expressing their unhappiness over the hygiene and sanitary conditions in the Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad , a two-member central medical team called on the suspected swine flu patients. Informed sources said the duo were later joined by a third member. The members, Sashi Kaur, Ashok Kumar and Ravi, reported to have with the swine flu patients on the eighth floor of the hospital. The members are siad to have told the hospital officials made the admission procedure more patient-friendly, hospital sources said. Later, the Mahbubnagar District medical and health officials briefed the members on the spread of the disease as several patients from that district were admitted in the Gandhi Hospital. The team is likely to call on Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao later today. Hospital sources said that earlier Union Minister for Labour Bandaru Dattatreya had visited the hospital and spoke to the staff and patients.
