Is Sourav Ganguly joining BJP?

Kolkata, Jan 22: India's former cricket captain and present commentator Sourav Ganguly is alleged to be joining the Bharatiya Janata Party and negotiations are on, according to sources. If Sourav joins the ruling party, it could spell a major setback to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress in Bengal. Since 2008, many political parties including the BJP have been seeking his support Sourav. However, he is said to have rejected BJP's offer to contest in the national election last year. There are also reports that Dinesh Trivedi of the Trinamool Congress and at least four other state ministers are likely walk over to BJP soon.
