Suresh Prabhu rules out Privatisation of Railways

Hyderabad, Jan 19, 2015: Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on Monday ruled out the privatization of Railways. "Railways will continue to be under the control of the Government.Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to make the Indian Railways more powerful," he said addressing a Railway Conference here. The conference is organised to discuss PPP investments in Railways and FDIs.
