Guv Narasimhan praises services of LV Prasad Eye Hospital

Hyderabad, Jan 14, 2015: Governor ESL Narasimhan on Wednesday praised the LV Prasad Eye Hospital which has created a record of sorts by conducting 20,000 cornea operations. Speaking as Chief Guest at a program in which the doctors and staff of the hospital were felicitated, Narasimhan asked the governments of AP and Telangana and NGOs to create awareness among the people over eye donation. The two governments must strive hard to ensure quality health and medical services in the rural areas in their states as rural people are suffering a lot without proper medical services. He also asked the two governments not to allot land for corporate hospitals in cities so that they would establish their units in rural areas.
