Permanent residences for Telangana CM, CS, PSs and MLAs soon

Hyderabad, Jan 13, 2015: Like the Prime Minister of India, Telangana Chief Minister will also have a permanent residence very soon. Whoever is the Prime Minister of India, he / she would stay at 7, Race Course Road in Delhi. Telangana Chief Minister KCR wants to have similar arrangements for the state CM too in future. KCR has also decided to have permanent residences for the state Chief Secretary, Principal Secretaries of all departments in Hyderabad and permanent offices for all MLAs in their respective constituencies. KCR held an hour-long review meeting with Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma over the issue here on Monday and later instructed the R and B officials to prepare plans and estimates for the said residences and offices. However, the location to build these high profile residences is yet to be identified as police clearances , security aspects and a number of other issues are to be considered. The R and B department will now work in close coordination with police and security agencies to identify the locations to construct these buildings. Then only some estimates can be arrived at.
