KCR appoints five new women Collectors
Hyderabad, Jan 12, 2015: The Telangana Government has on Monday given postings to 24 IAS officers as District Collectors, Joint Collectors and Sub Collectors. The notable point among the new postings is that five new women IAS officers were appointed as District Collectors. This is the first major exercise of administrative appointments made by the Telangana government after the Centre has allotted IAS and IAS officers to both AP and Telangana. Neetu Kumari Prasad was given posting as Collector of Karimnagar district while V.Karuna made Warangal District Collector. K. Nirmala,T.K.Sridevi and G.D. Priyadarshini were appointed Collectors of Hyderabad, Mahabubnagar and Adilabad districts respectively.
