Suspected rebels fire shots in car chase near Paris

Paris, Jan 9: In a fresh highway drama, suspected rebels fired gun shots during a car chase near Paris on Friday. Latest reports confirmed that the rebels took at least one hostage to the north-east of Paris, where police have been searching for two brothers accused of killing at least 12 persons in an Islamist assault. The hostage drama is underway in Dammartin-en-Goele, to the north-east of Paris. According to police, two persons were seriously injured in the shootout before hostage situation northeast of Paris.
