Madakasira accident: Jagan demands Rs 25 lakh ex-gratia

Madakasira (Ananthapuram dist), Jan 7: Pulling up the TDP government for its laxity in allowing RTC buses to ply on an unfit road that lead to the bus mishap killing innocent students, YS Jaganmohan Reddy has said the State should own up the responsibility for the accident and the ex-gratia should be enhanced to Rs 25 lakhs. “The fault on part of the government is very much visible and it should not play the blame game. Instead it should take responsibility and enhance the ex-gratia to Rs 25 lakhs as caution was thrown to winds with the absence of sign boards alerting the traffic were missing on the road leading to the trench,” Jagan told media after visiting the accident spot. The contractor is at fault, the Government and R& B are at fault and it is very much obvious going by the lack of precautions.
