PM meets actor Richard Gere

New Delhi, Jan 5: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday met Hollywood actor Richard Gere here. "Mr. Richard Gere met Prime Minister @narendramodi," read a post from the @PMOIndia Twitter handle. The 65-year-old star of films like "American Gigolo" and "Pretty Woman", is an ardent devotee of the Dalai Lama. Gere is the chairman of Gere Foundation and Global Envoy of International Buddhist Confederation. The nature of his visit and the meeting is still unknown. The actor presented Modi with a bouquet of flowers and a special Tibetan scarf.
