Man held for throwing shoe at Bihar Chief Minister
Patna, Jan 5: A middle-aged man is believed to have been arrested after throwing a shoe at the Chief Minister of Bihar, Jitan Ram Manjhi. The shoe, however, is believed to have missed its mark. The man is believed to have thrown the shoe during the weekly Monday morning public meeting called 'Janta Darbar' at the Chief Minister's residence in Patna city. Identified as Amitesh, the shoe-thrower is from Chhapra region. During police questioning, he is said to have accused the Chief Minister for promoting caste politics in the state.
