Open letter: KTR flays PM Modi over Rozgar Mela

Hyderabad, October 26: Terming Rozgar Mela as fraud, Minister for IT and Industries K. Taraka Rama Rao wrote an open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He alleged that the Rozgar Mela (recruitment drive) was launched to deceive unemployed youth.
 
KTR adviced to the PM to resolve unemployment issue with commitment rather than making it an election stunt. “Modi unveiled another drama of filling jobs ahead of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh elections,” he criticised and slammed the BJP-led NDA government for not fulfilling the election promise of filling two crore jobs every year. He demanded to release a white paper on jobs filled so far in the last eight years.
 
The minister claimed that the TRS government filled 2.24 lakh government jobs and created employment to 16.5 lakh people in private sector. He expressed anger over the PM for cheating the youth in the name of Rozgar Mela to fill only 75,000 jobs.
