Chandrababu yet to decide on waiver for AP farmers living outside

Hyderabad, Jan 1, 2015: AP Government has not yet taken any decision on applying the farm loan waiver scheme to farmers having agricultural lands in the state but residing in other states. Agriculture minister Pathipati Pulla Rao told reporters here last night that the loan waiver scheme is generally applied to farmers having lands and residing in the state. "The farmers should stay in Andhra Pradesh and have Aadhar cards to avail the waiver benefit. But regarding those staying outside AP in places like Hyderabad with Aadhar Cards having Hyderabad addresses, the government has yet to take a decision. Chief Minister Chandrababu will soon take a decision on the issue," he said.
