Ganta asks TS to act as per Guv's advice on EAMCET

Hyderabad, Dec 31, 2014: Taking strong objection to the remarks of Telangana Education minister Jagadeesh Reddy, AP HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao asked the Telangana Government to heed the advice of the Governor E.S.L. Narasimhnan and fall in line with AP for conducting the EAMCET together with it simultaneously for the benefit of students in both states. Addressing a press meet at the Secretariat here on Wednesday, Srinivasa Rao said he could sit along with Jagadeesh Reddy and finalise things for conducting the EAMCET simultaneously for the students of the two states once the Telangana government heeds the advice of the Governor. "It is not correct on part of Jagadeesh Reddy to comment that AP Government is behaving in an uncivilised manner," he said, adding that AP is only trying to abide by the letter and spirit of the AP Reorganisation Act. Ganta said AP government is bearing the insults inflicted by the Telangana for the sake of students in both states."Though Telangana Government is insulting us , we are showing restraint as we have to protect the interests of the students in both the states," he said. It may be recalled that when Jagadeesh Reddy and Ganta Srinivasa Rao called on him separately on Tuesday, Governor asked them to go by the rule book of the AP Reorganization Act.
