Rains to lash coastal AP

Vishakhapatnam, Dec 30: The Cyclone Warning Centre, Visakhapatnam of the India Meteorological Department on Tuesday predicted widespread rain or thundershowers in the south and north coastal Andhra Pradesh. This was due to low pressure cyclonic system hovering over the Bay of Bengal between Sri Lanka and Southern Tamil Nadu region, according to the Met office. Visibility will be moderate to soon become poor due to rain, the Met office said. The report forecast that winds will blow at speeds of 45-50 kmph, according to the Met office.
