Revanth asks Speaker to act against defectors, on resignations

Hyderabad , Dec 26, 2014: Telangana TDP firebrand MLA Revanth Reddy questioned Speaker on why he has not yet taken action against party defectors. Addressing a press meet here on Friday, Revanth Reddy said the Speaker has not so far accepted the resignation of Talasani Yadav who quit as MLA. "Though he submitted his resignation a few days ago, why has the Speaker kept it pending? The Speaker should answer this, " he averred. The TRS has been throwing to the winds all traditions of the House, he said and demanded the Speaker to take action against all those defectors who left TDP. "We have lodged complaint against the defectors and the Speaker should act least now," he said.
