EXIM Bank to auction super star Rajinikanth's properties !
Chennai, Dec 26, 2014: It seems south Indian super star Rajinikanth is running through a bad phase. The Export and Import Bank of India ( EXIM) has announced today that it is going to auction the properties of Rajinikanth for recovery of its loan granted to the family earlier. The Bank said in a public announcement that Rajinikanth family has defaulted on a loan of Rs. 22 Cr taken from it by his wife Lata Rajinikanth during the production of his earlier movie 'Kochadaiyaan' directed by his daughter Soundarya. It may be recalled that the film 'Kochadaiyaan', an animated movie depicting Rajinikanth in a warrior role, had flopped at the box office bringing huge losses to the family.
