Jagan calls up Uma, asks him to complete pending irrigation works
Kadapa, Dec 25, 2014: YSR Congress Party president and leader of the opposition in the assembly Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy , now on a tour of Kadapa district, has telephoned Irrigation Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao on Thursday. He asked the Minister to complete the pending irrigation works from Potireddypadu head regulator to Gandi Kota as soon as possible. He also requested the Minister to solve the problems of submergence-prone areas of Gandi Kota and release drinking and irrigation water to Pulivendula branch canal.
