MLA Balakrishna’s wife Vasundhara launches Anna Canteen in Hindupur

Hindupur, May 28: Tollywood actor and TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna’s wife Vasundhara Devi on Saturday launched an Anna Canteen here on 100th birth anniversary of TDP founder and former CM N.T. Rama Rao (NTR). Fans of NTR residing in the USA and Balakrishna have jointly set up Anna Canteen for providing food to the poor for only Rs 2. 
 
Talking to reporters, Vasundhara said that she is happy for launching Anna Canteen in Hindupur. “Is anyone providing food for Rs 2,” she asked and said that it became reality only in Hindupur.
 
Vasundhara wished that Anna Canteens should be set up all over Andhra Pradesh. “I am very fortunate to become daughter-in-law of NTR,” she mentioned and added that Anna Canteen was started here with the blessings of NTR. Large number of Balakrishna and TDP fans have attended the canteen launch function and raised slogans of ‘Jai NTR’ when Vasundhara was cutting the ribbon.
