Omar Abdullah loses in Sonwar
Srinagar, Dec 23: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Tuesday lost in Sonawar constituency and continued to lead in Beerwah assembly seat, officials said.
Earlier, Abdullah trailed in Sonawar constituency and led in Beerwah. Both places are in the Kashmir Valley.
Meanwhile, the ruling National Conference took the lead in 13 constituencies. Its estranged ally, the Congress, was ahead in 10 seats.
A total of 48.29 lakh votes are to be counted Tuesday.
Most exit polls predicted a hung assembly in Jammu and Kashmir at the end of staggered polling.
